The Egg, The Monk And The Warrior

Friday, January 1st, 2010

This intimate 15min show, produced for the AW08 Copenhagen Fashion Week, is the fruit of the collaboration between fashion designers Vilsbøl de Arce and Caroline Bentzen, composer Louise Alenius Boserup and choreographer/dancer Louise Midjord.

The performance, filmatized here by Kaspar Astrup Schröder,  captures a dialogue between the static of objects and the dynamics of movement – a choreographed relationship of clothing, in essence static, to the human body, in perpetual movement.
